120 Dacquacote Primer Finish
A water-borne acrylic coating for use as a primer for steel and similar substrates. Excellent adhesion and durability with rust-inhibitive properties. 'Environmentally Friendly'. Typically applied to rolling stock and rail components
- Overcoating Time @ 20°C : 4 hours with water-borne finishes. Note : To achieve the above drying times the paint film must be exposed to adequate air movement with good ventilation
- Touch Dry @ 20°C: 20 minutes
- Colour: Limited colour range available on request
41-120 Vinaprime HB Anti Corrosion Primer
Single pack high build inhibitive primer for steel and rusty galvanised steel . Damp tolerant and fast drying, rapid overcoating.
- Overcoating Time @ 20°C : 2 hours
- Touch Dry @ 20°C: 40 minutes
- Colour: Buff (other colours to special order)
45-177 Vinadac High Solids MIO (Airless Spray Grade)
Single pack modified vinyl/micaceous iron oxide with rust inhibitive pigment. Independently tested and approved by Scientifics Ltd for use on rail bogies and wheel sets.
- Overcoating Time @ 20°C : 2 hours will vary with air temperature, movement etc.
- Touch Dry @ 20°C: 1 hour
- Colour: Black
541 Vinadac High Build Vinyl Sheen
Single pack fast drying high build vinyl pigmented with light fast durable pigmentation. High build coating for protection of steel and galvanised steel in aggressive environments. Tolerant of damp surfaces during application with excellent flexibility retention.
- Overcoating Time @ 20°C : 3 hours
- Touch Dry @ 20°C: 2 hours
- Colour: Tinted to any BS4800/Ral/BS381C or bespoke colour
